I must admit, this is the first time I've really read through the drum forums, very impressive! You guys really know your stuff. I would love to get some feedback from some "Real" drummers on what you think about the software! ThanX!

Yea, I'm a programmer and sound designer. I'm mainly a bass player, but since I'm forced to work with drummers on a daily basis, I've been picking up some technique against my will http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Since I'm programming drum machine software I consider myself a "Virtual Drummer". Any input from more "Real Drummers" would be greatly appreciated. I apologize again for being a messageboard rookie...

Dude, apart from the obvious fact that you're blatantly advertising on here, don't you find it just a tad ironic to be hawking drum machine software on a drummers' forum?

I happen to greatly appreciate the flesh and blood variety of drummer and would never dream of trying to replace one with a machine, thanks.

A bass player, writing software for drummers, who is "forced" to work with drummers, and it's a windows app... I'm sold! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif

(btw, don't let this be misconstrued that I'm against drum programming at all. I do it every day.)

Just for the record.

hehe, Most of the people on the development team are drummers! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif They actually dig it. (I'm a drummer too, but somehow always end up playing bass). It's in no way meant to replace drummers... This brings up an interesting point- Has anyone every actually felt threatened by a drum machine or keyboard?
