sidereal
For you MIDI freaks and electronic drum enthusiasts... just got Emu's Planet Earth synth module and I'm in heaven. I think there's every possible percussion sample you could think of on this thing. Also has some nice kits and really great SFX patches, ambient beds and strings. I can't even begin to explain how cool this thing is. Maybe it's best I don't have a girlfriend right now. btw, Guitar Center's offering a $200 rebate on it if you get it before the end of August. Works out to roughly $499 total. Just for the record.
MPCman
I heard the demo's of the Planet Earth a few weeks ago and I was really impressed as well! Much better than my Proteus 2000's demo's. Maybe I'll buy the Planet Earth Rom board for my Proteus one day http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif
DrummerCafe
I haven't checked that module out, so I'll have to do that very soon. I've got a AKAI S6000 and make my own percussion samples. Although I have a lot of percussion toys, it's always nice to have a sound module on hand for more choices. Thanks for the suggestion! ------------------ Bart Elliott http://bartelliott.com Drummer Cafe - community drum & percussion forum
