I fell like I can do everything I need with my drumKAT, so I don't know that I will ever buy a HandSonic. The pad lay out is cool and feels comfortable for normal hand drum patterns. Of course the D-Beam is very very cool. The technology for this unit is based on the Roland V-Drum pads; so the quality is definitely there. It comes with a built in sequencer with over 300 sounds ... so your getting a lot for the money. Retailing at $1295.00. the cheapest I've seen it is $995.00.
