dohhhhh6
Wow, I've had some bad luck iwht my GK 1001rb. On my church band's tour, I was plugged into a crappy outlet that blew a fuse on it. It took my 3-4 months to finally order new fuses from GK (can't find them anywhere else). Finally I put a nuse few in and there's smoke, a loud humming noise, a bright red clip light, electric sparks on the left region and another blown fuse. I guess I'll have to take to a certified GK deal now, but this is the worst of luck! Anyone have any idea what's going on to my baby? Maybe the blown fuse messed up the boards? I hope this doesn't spell death. In Skynyrd We Trust
jeremy c
I've been able to find any fuse I needed for any of my amps at auto supply stores. When the magic smoke comes out of an amp, that is never a good sign. Free download of my cd!.

dohhhhh6
Any idea how expensive about that is to get fixed? In Skynyrd We Trust

dohhhhh6
Yeah. As long as it's under $250, I'll consider repair. Otherwise, it's off amp hunting. That's either really depressing or really exciting. I'm a bit of both. In Skynyrd We Trust
Big Daddy from Motown
This sort of disaster almost certainly had nothing to do with a bad AC outlet.
