I wonder what he sounds like when he plays his own stuff. It would be great to see someone who has studied vw so much actually show how they mix their style with his. Not hard if you've got a firm grasp on slapping correctly, some groove, and the ability to comprehend seperate part delegation (brain). Vic's definitely pioneered technique and versatility. Gab Posted May 10, 2006 Share Posted May 10, 2006 I first saw this on one of Victor's bass day videos about 2 years ago, searched the net and downloaded the tab in powertab format. Been practicing it ever since and use it for slap warm ups. What he plays is impressive but the double slap parts don't even get close to what it should sound like IMO. BTW, the whole thing is much easier for me to play on a 4 string.
