Tim C Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 His name is Dominique Di Piazza, and he does indeed also play guitar nowadays. His technique and style come from his bass, (his six string is tuned to fourths) he originally played the six string with bass on the side, but when he hit the age of 19 and heard Jaco play in sixteenths and was inspired to play bass. His solo project in France put out a CD available to the US only by internet, athough there may be a US release. He spends most of his time now on his work with Front Page, also teaching and doing master classes. He is a Pastor and after his work with John McLaughlin took seven years off of music, (four of which he didn't even touch an instrument) to devote himself to God. After that hiaatus he returned to music on his terms. He doesn't plan on touring anytime soon but is continuing to record music. hmmm... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
