Petethebassman Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 I did some digging in the archives and did find my first post, a brief introduction and a question about replacement pickups for my Precision. The thread quickly turned into a discussion about grammar and spelling, much to my amusement. I never did replace the pickup, though: the P-bass still has the same EMGs in it. Switching from stainless steels to nickel strings warmed up the tone quite nicely, so there wasn't any need to replace the pickup after all.
