So the singer/songwriter I play for (the Collin Herring mentioned in the title, naturally) has been nominated in PASTE magazine's Top 10 of 2005 reader's poll. The nomination is for Collin's second album, "The Other Side of Kindness", on which I play all electric and upright bass tracks. At the risk of sounding trite, it's a freakin' honor just to be on the list of nominees, a list which includes Fiona Apple, Coldplay, Ben Folds, and lots of other really cool people.
