Tom Capasso
Brian - what's the deal with the Thurs nite stuff? The list of events is nice, but lacks the "who" and the "when".... When are you guys coming to town? How about the editorial staff hosting an hour Fri night for bassists (especially forum bassists)? See ya then! Joe McDonough
Hi Tom: Music Player Live doesn't start until Friday, Oct. 21. However, we are working with Disc Makers who is having their IMWS Northeast finals at the Knitting Factory the Thursday night before we kick off. Anyone who pre-registers for MPL can get on the VIP list for the show at the Knitting Factory on Oct. 20. So, that's the Thursday night details. It will be a show of many indie bands competing for the Disc Maker's prizes. I've been to a few of these and they've always been great shows, and a good way to support indie rock. Hope to see you there. Joe McDonough Music Player Network
_Sweet Willie_
If I'm able to go, it will only be for the Saturday of the event during the day. There is a slight chance I could catch that last hour of the Friday gathering. Now, if that Friday BP Happy Hour happened to bleed over to a nearby watering hole or restaurant I might could be persuaded to hang for a bit after the day job... Peace. --Doctor Luv spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.
