passive

although passive is not a word that comes to mind with a THUNDERBIRD

ive never liked active basses

the fact that the batterys ALWAYS DIE when im playing them doesnt help my opinion either

My bass sounds great either way. For the last few years, I have really been enjoying it's passive sound, but just recently I have started turning on the preamp. Since i am enjoying the extra beef, I am going to vote "active".

Mine is somewhat passive.

I play hard and she just snarls in response.

I have nothing nice to say so . . .
