LOWBOY
passive although passive is not a word that comes to mind with a THUNDERBIRD ive never liked active basses the fact that the batterys ALWAYS DIE when im playing them doesnt help my opinion either http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/LOWBOY/goth-T.jpg
JBFLA
I voted passive. 1.5 years ago, it would have been active. Seems I go through phases, and right now I favor passive basses. Jim Jim Confirmed RoscoeHead
tnb
My bass sounds great either way. For the last few years, I have really been enjoying it's passive sound, but just recently I have started turning on the preamp. Since i am enjoying the extra beef, I am going to vote "active". ATM
If "main" means the one I'm playing the most "right now," then passive. My other bass that I've had the longest and played the most is hyper-active.
