amailmanyouknow
Hi - I just put an electric bass up for sale on eBay, and a potential buyer wrote me the following: the reason(s) i think it may be a kay is that (some) kays have a piece of aluminum that forms a pickguard that looks just like the one on your bass. the tuning pegs and the headstock look the same and the neck lenght and body are consistent with kay design. btw, the kay logo which sat atop the headstock was made of the same material as that pickguard on your bass. because of the numbering on the headstock you might even have a prototype there which would be a real find. good luck, The auction number is: 3756547983 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3756547983&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT I also have a couple of other pictures which I can send (someone asked me if the top was curved but eBay won't let me add any pictures since there is a bid on it). Do you have anyone at your shop who might know more about this? I have looked everywhere online and can't find any info - thanks!

jeremy c
Yeah, but at the moment it's a $13 piece of junk (with $25 shipping). And you have to admit, it was a pretty tricky way to post a for sale ad on the forum without it looking like spam. I hope the original poster will join in the fun here. Free download of my cd!. moot
greenboy - Ah: I see it's the FTA (Freeway-Totalled Airstream) model I've been reading so much about in interviews! Woah! Hilarious!! As is the fact that people are bidding on a piece of kindling. Bet there's a boot-print under that hunk of fuselage.
