xvincex
Ok here's the situation, I'm using a QSC PLX1602 that actually does an insane job. I'm driving it brigde mono mode with my sansamp RBI. The only thing is, I can't put filter ON, if I do I get no sound and clip LEDs light up and nothing else. Here are the current switches at the back of the power amp: http://thepayback.decaysystem.com/caca/Poweramp-Bridge1.GIF #1 is clip limiter #2 is filter on #3 is filter 30hz #4-5-6-7 are on because they have to be on for Bridge Mono (4-5-6 are parallel inputs) #8-9-10 are off (channel 2) Yes I'm using a 1+2+ wired speak-on cable on the poweramp end for bridge mono. See the complete rear panel here: http://www.qscaudio.com/images/hi_res/PLX3402_back_hi.jpg Anyone can see something wrong?
DONUTHOLE
I don't see any reason why it would do that. I'll be able to get with mine later and maybe we can figure it out.
...
What are you trying to gain from having the filter on? It appears to me, from the diagrams on the back of the amp, that the filter "on" option is not available with bridged mono mode. That would be your problem. ??? DONUTHOLE
That could be it. I'll lok at my amp and manual when I get to work tomorrow and we'll see what the story is. Sorry,I wasn't able to get to it today. It was honeydo day today.
bikertrash
when you run a plx in bridge mode you need to match left and right side settings. Your settings as indicated are telling one side of the transformer to filter and the other side not to which is fine in stereo but not bridged. Put 8-9-10 in line with the rest of them and you'll get what you want You know you need to use the channel 1 output only in bridged mode....right?
