jeremy c Posted August 20, 2004 Share Posted August 20, 2004 The Fender 50th anniversary instruments were made in 1996. That was the 50th anniversary of the founding of the company. It was not the 50th anniversary for the Jazz bass, the P bass, the stratocaster or a lot of other Fender models. But they built some of everything and stuck the 50th anniversary label on them. It's probably a good bass and the price looks ok from here. Maybe I'll take a look at it in two weeks when I'm in Seattle. Free download of my cd!.
