I know that currently among many people art is a dirty word, but that's what it is. And if that art reaches one person, even it's creator, then it has achieved it's purpose. It is hard to imagine hearing that voice taking your order from a McDonalds speaker...then driving around to pick up your order, only to be greeted with that mug of his. Yeesh... I don't know the purpose, but the results are wonderful, as in it soothes my soul to listen or create it. Bassplayers aren't paid to play fast, they're paid to listen fast.
