57pbass
I just read the obit in the new issue of Bass Player. For those not familiar with his work he played great bass for Humble Pie - he also had a great voice. The article states he was a P Bass player.... I am a huge fan of this guy - who I never saw perform live. Live at The Filmore is a classic live rock album... www.danielprine.com
Dave Martin
That's a darned shame. I haven't heard anything of Greg Ridley in years, But I've listened to "Rockin' The Fillmore" record a couple of times in the last month. Cthulhu Fhtagn
Old enough to rememeber Humble Pie. They smoked. Not familiar with Ridley's work, becasue they were my "pre-bass" days, but I do remember liking the band.
