groucho
I read the threads on octave boxes and like what I read about the M88 and the EBS Octabass...Had anybody tried the Danelectro Chili Dog for bass? Sure is cheap...probably a reason! if it ain't broke don't fix it... unless you need the overtime.

jeremy c
I bought the French Toast pedal. "octave up distortion". I returned it the next day. These are incredibly cheesy pedals, both in sound and construction. Great price, though, especially for the package deals. Musiciansfriend has sound samples of all the pedals on their website. Unfortunately they are played with a g**tar. Listen for yourself and caveat emptor. I've owned a Boss Octaver and the first EBS Octabass. I'm currently using the EBS Black Label Octabass. It's the shiznit. Free download of my cd!.
