I currently play in a salsa/merengue 10-piece orchestra and was wondering how I should set up the 7-band equalizer the amp. has in order to get that deep tone for these styles of music. Help! bassplayer7770 Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 For a start I'd think you'd want to boost (turn up) the bass a bit and cut (turn down) the treble a bit. Try that and see if it gets you any closer to "that tone".
