DWBass
Now, many of the R&B players here may get this one. Who is the bassist that played on all of the late 70's and 80's hits from The Whispers, Shalamar and Dynasty??? Hint: He also was part of a disco music singing family. www.myspace.com/thefunkfather

DWBass
Jeremy, you are correct sir!! I feel he is one of the best bassists on record. Espescially in that genre. Very clean finger style technique. And creative too. He was also a member (the oldest) of 'The Sylvers'! The makers of "Boogie Fever" and "Hotline" during the disco days!! www.myspace.com/thefunkfather
57pbass
Second Time Around by Shalamar has an amazing bass line. I always wondered who played it. Thanks www.danielprine.com
_Sweet Willie_
Great trivia question! I never wouldn've gotten the answer without doing some research. Props to Jeremy C! And props to Leon Sylvers for his low-end work! spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.
