Did the patient survive the surgery? Is it a big success or are you rush ordering a new pickguard to cover up the evidence? Enquiring minds want to know . . . My tech is so backed up, it's taken this long for him to clear the space to get to it. Then he found that he needed to special order an "on-on-on" switch for the pickup selector. It'll be front, both or rear, no blend pot. I bought a Duncan SPB-1 Vintage P bass pickup to throw in there. I can't wait to hear how it sounds. I'll let you know soon as I take it out. The problem is, now that I have a J-Retro preamp in my 74 Jazz, I don't want to play any other bass!
