How to find a new band?

Recommended Posts

Y'all,

I'm getting ready to leave my band to look for a new gig. Basically, I want to get back into original music and do a little less traveling than my current job requires.. How would y'all go about this? I know that this isn't really a bass specific question, but...

Specifically, can anyone point me to any Internet Resources for musicians that would contain good leads? I already know and use Harmony-Central for this - what else is out there? Anyone from Philadelphia (Curve?) know of any local resources that I should check out?

Thanks Guys!

I don't gig (far from it), but here's some sites that might interest you. I found them through http://dir.yahoo.com/entertainment/music/ :

Hope you find what/who you're seeking! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
