Phait
Is anyone using this for any of their music? http://www.creativecommons.org http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/ Unfortunately their site seems to be having problems at this time.... anyway, I'm using one of their licenses that will allow the user to modify/distribute and use the content for anything but commercial purposes - which is really a far stretch for me, I don't normally allow any of my creative stuff whether music or not to be modified for any reason and I'm not a fan of collaboration... but I figure since the tracks will be ambient and not much to them, why not. Franknputer
There was a big article about this in a recent Wired magazine. Sounds pretty cool, really, if you think the normal copyright law is too restrictive, and wish to cover your music while allowing people to use parts of it creatively. fantasticsound
There are previous threads about this. You may want to search for them. It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman Soundclick fntstcsnd
Phait
I did, and didn't find any. I searched "creative commons" in subject title.
