Pillo Posted January 18 Share Posted January 18 Hello, I am a new Ipad user for music. I see most apps allow you to set the recording paramenters. I do everything in the box, using AUM of GarageBand. No recording of external instruments or voice. Should I use 44.1 or 48 khz? 16 or 24 bit? How much bigger is a file recorded with the higher quality settings? Dave Bryce Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 I’ve been happy tracking and mixing to 44.1k 16 bit for the most part - be that in the box or capturing external audio - for my own stuff, since most of the folks who hear it will listen to mp3s.
