Semi O.T. - Best Phantom Power Source For Bluebird Mic

Recommended Posts

Someone gifted me a Bluebird microphone but it turns out in order to use it to record on my computer, I need a phantom power source.  Any recommendations for what will work best without spending big bucks?  I already had to buy the XLR to USB cable and not wanting to turn this free gift into a large expense.  Thank you!

Surf the web for a used Sterling Audio PHP1. I've seen them as low as $20 including shipping. You might need a power supply, depending on who's selling what.

Pretty ordinary, a Boss power supply or equivalent will work fine.

1 XLR in and 1 XLR out so your USB cord should work.

It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
