This appeared on my radar recently, and reminded me of those threads: Conductive Labs Midi Router Control Center https://conductivelabs.com/. 5 DIN ins and 10 DIN outs, 2 TRS ins and 4 TRS outs plus 4 USB devices and a host. Programming on-board, no need to connect a computer. At the other end of the MIDI router scale, this (https://www.mumidi.com/'s Hublink) allows two USB-only MIDI devices to interconnect.
