What is Roland's reasoning in these videos?

I'm not going to post links because I don't want to put down individuals who demonstrate products in Roland videos, but I don't understand why so many presenters in Roland videos are dressed as bad as possible. Many of them dressed like slobs in baggy, unflattering shirts that look like they were slept in. So much goes into the making of these videos that I cannot help but think this is a stylistic choice by someone in charge. But what purpose? Are they trying to make sure people look at the product and not the presenter? I much prefer the early Elektron videos with Hector who looked professional and just a bit out there. I'm just surprised that Roland is not trying to make them look more street or hip hop. Instead they look like they just crawled out of mom's basement.

I guess they are shooting for different audiences, really.   Whether it's effective or not, only they can answer.

I watched a whole bunch of them on the Roland channel on youtube and only found one video that might meet your description. No one was wearing a suit, but everyone was dressed neatly, some were stylish, and all seemed to look like musicians. You might need to give us some hints to point us toward one of these people "dressed like slobs in baggy, unflattering shirts that look like they were slept in."
