Winston Psmith
Sorry for the delay in responding. To be honest, I'd never seen one until you mentioned it, so I went to look it up. It strikes me as very much his take on the Moderne, with active EMG pickups, and his signature 'striped' top. Sonically, I would expect it to be much like his signature LP, or that hybrid SG/Flying V model. FWIW, it seems to be out of production, and only available used for around $2000? If I were interested in a Moderne, I'd probably look into one of these - 2019 Gibson Moderne There's also an Epiphone version, for around $600US. "Monsters are real, and Ghosts are real too. Bluesape
Way too many other axes out there for it to grab me. It was always a sales dud for Gibson, which is why it never stays in production long. Really glad to see Gibson going back to its core lines, which was all everyone ever wanted. Gibson never belonged in the Super Strat or Tele game, just like Fender doesn't belong in the LP, 335, or acoustic game. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
