A typical P Bass? 250k pots, capacitors .05u

 

But there are many other values that work. I've seen pots that are 500k and even a meg, but that makes for an overly bright bass, IMO.

"For instance" is not proof.

Also be aware that input impedance of the amp is part of the circuit and will affect your tone based on cap and pot values.
