Basshappi
Best known for his work with The Pat Travers Band He was a great player and a big influence upon me as a young bass player. Rest in Peace Mr. Cowling and thanks for all the great music. Nothing is as it seems but everything is exactly what it is - B. Banzai Life is what happens while you are busy playing in bands. Bottom End
I am only now hearing about this, that is terrible news. His bassline for the live version of "Boom boom, Out Go the Lights" was one of those lines that made me want to play bass, that guy pushed the song along, and stood out, but still left room for everyone else. I am glad I got to see him live with Pat Travers, great player. "Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.
