EddiePlaysBass
There's a thread on here from YEARS back concerning smart phones and music apps ... but I figured it won't hurt to start a new one It being 2017 I decided that perhaps this whole smartphone craze is more than a hype so I got me one. Downloaded a few bass-minded apps but I finally settled on one called "Vivace: Learn To Read Music" yesterday and toyed around with the bass clef for a bit. It has tutorials, around 22 lessons which teach you how to read the staff / clefs etc and then of course the "gaming" concept Best part is, it doesn't seem to require any internet connection either. What other goodies are out there? Who uses what? Please do not get me started on tuner apps - the guitarist in my last band thought it was a huge improvement to tune his strings at full volume, rather than plug in to an "old-fashioned" tuner "I'm a work in progress." jcadmus
I have the Fender tuner app, but I don't think it works particularly well for bass. "Tours widely in the southwestern tip of Kentucky"
