Heartbeat
Thinking of adding a VR-09 to my setup as another keyboard to my Stage2. I would like to use just one set of pedals for both keyboards to control Expression cc#11, Sustain cc#64, and Rotary cc#82 via MIDI. No note on-off information. Will it work? Can't seem to find Midi cc# information in the VR-09 manual. TIA.
AnotherScott
This thread might be a starting point... https://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2861600/Connect_one_expression_pedal_t You normally can't simply connect the pedals to one unit and have the other unit "see" those pedals over MIDI without having that second unit also "seeing" the first unit's note-on/off data. Possibly inserting some kind of MIDI filtering device between the two boards could manage it, though. Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
Sven Golly
Can't seem to find Midi cc# information in the VR-09 manual. That's because there's more than one manual. Clonk here.
