Synthoid
I had a conversation recently with some friends of mine--they are proud parents of a son who is studying music. They bought a Yamaha S90ES several years ago and he's using it to control a collection of soft synths, including Omnisphere. This is a whole new world for them and it's interesting to hear their observations. One of their comments was, "He was looking through the library of sounds and couldn't find an electric piano he liked so he created one! That was amazing." I just smiled... didn't have the heart to say, "Yeah, we synth players do that all the time." When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray. ElmerJFudd
Music is magic to people who didn't grow up with making it in the house. And to those that did, it's still magic. We're just more picky about the quality of the magic tricks. Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
Synthoid
Well, my friend's wife plays the piano and flute. She has a nice voice too. But the whole synthesis thing is brand new to them and their son. I've heard his music though, and it's great. When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
