ElmerJFudd
http://www.e-instruments.com Session Keys R and S Anyone own these yet? They'll load in the free Kontakt player. The demos are really appealing to me, very realistic to my ears - more so than some of the others that have come up lately. johnchop
Zombie thread, but this got zero responses and little mention elsewhere (that I could find). These hit my radar recently. The Rhodes sounds lovely albeit with a rather large disk footprint. Anyone playing them? I make software noises.
MalH
I've used them a bit and find them very clean and well balanced across the keyboard. Their "Y" piano is probably one of my favourite Yamahas. I'm surprised by the disk footprint, as looking at the sample mapping in Kontakt shows them to have not a huge number of velocity layers. Overall I like playing them, but my go-to Steinway is something more organic sounding, such as the Galaxy Vintage D.

MalH
I stand corrected. While the pianos seem to only have 4 velocity layers, the Rhodes has 20 and shows a nice smooth transition of tone.
