Quite a while back, in one of GP's many issues devoted to the Les Paul, there was an article regarding getting the best tone out of the LP, which even had instructions for adjusting the pole pieces in the pickups. All very OCD, I know, but I've been looking for it for quite a while. The absurd thing is, I have all my back issues of GP, arranged neatly on a bookshelf, but I cannot find the issue with this article no matter how many of them I pull out and look through. Anyone remember this, for some reason? I know, it seems like every couple of years, there's another Les Paul issue, but this one was years back, around or before the LP turned 50.
