_Sweet Willie_
From the website: "It is with a heavy heart that I must close down Bass Northwest after 21+ years of business due to health reasons. So, all of the remaining new items that we have in stock are at special closeout prices. These are all new items with full warranty. Please be aware that all items are plus tax and or shipping. We can't do layaway's and all sales are final. The sale prices should more than make up for that We can take credit cards and cash only for this final sale. Our last day of business will be September 30th. Thanks for all of the years of support!... Evan Sheeley (owner)" A shame. Although I made it to Seattle a couple of times, I failed to make it to this shop. I've dealt with them over the phone and purchased from them from afar. Peace. spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! rumpelstiltskin.
went there once with former poster tater nuts in my only trip to seattle. there are not many stores like it. it must be a labor of love, because with the name recognition they have someone would want to take over if it were at all reasonably profitable. because i like people. Tom Capasso
Sad about the health issue, and about losing that store. I've done some business, but never was able to pay a visit. I got Bart pickups and preamp from them, and a pedal. And got helpful advice from staff members over the phone. A labor of love, as robb. says, is likely the case. spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nicklab
I always wanted to visit this store. I heard great things about Bass NW over the years and it was one of the places I really wanted to check out in Seattle. I hope that Evan's going to be well, and that maybe he'll be able to come back at some point. JBFLA
I bought one of my Lull's from a different store (used) and it developed a neck issue. Sent it to Bass NW (where it was originally sold), and they fixed for free; just paid shipping. Had it back in 2 weeks, like new. They called me 3 times during the process - great customer service! jeremy c
Sorry, guys. I never made it over to Bass Northwest during my stay in Seattle. It was actually a very brief stay because we took off from the city and went to a town called Leavenworth which is built to make you think you are in a Bavarian village. And you almost think that when you are there. Free download of my cd!.
