shniggens
I am running Cubase SX on Windows XP, and am having a problem when burning projects to CD to share with other Cubase SX users. When I burn my project folder to a CD, and then try to open it up on MY PC, I get the following error when opening the project in Cubase - "Invalid Parameter" It will paint out all the tracks, etc., but it won't play anything. Just keeps giving me "Invalid Parameter". Of course, I haven't tried it on anyone else's PC since I can't even open it on my own. Anyone else experience this, or have any tips for sharing Cubase projects with other users? Thanks! Amateur Hack

Crimean
I had a similar problem. I think that you're trying to stream from the CD, and the CD drive is not fast enough to handle the multiple tracks. Try copying the CD to a folder on your computer (Which is redundant, since you already took it off), or onto someone elses computer, and open the .cpr file, so it's streaming from the Hard Drive, not the CD-ROM drive. Good luck! ~Chris
gmstudio99
Or, too, it thinks that the CD is the true project folder and it realizes that it can't write any new audio to that folder, even if you don't intend on recording anything else.
