SEHpicker Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 OK - so I bought a couple of picks from Tuskbuffer. WOW - is all I can say. I got the combo - one bone and one horn. (Plus he threw in an extra triangle horn pick - thankee TB) The bone is excellent - it has a more mellow ring to it and feels really good in your fingers. The horn pick surpassed my expectations. I'm a believer. This is my new FAVORITE pick. It has a bit more bite than the bone pick. I have been using the Dunlop 3.0mm Big Stubby for 12 or 15 years - great pick - BUT - now I see what the fuss is about with alternative materials. The tone from this pick really surprised me. I played it, then switched to the Stubby and back again just to be sure of what I was hearing. No doubt about it - the horn pick is just awesome - I'll never again be without one.
