jcadmus
Wow, Verdine White, Jason Newsted AND Ralphe Armstrong all in the same issue. It's like I was the editor or something. Verdine: Big influence when I was in high school. Jason: His new one is heavy, man. I just ordered it. Ralphe: I JUST got a new copy of Jean-Luc Ponty's "Enigmatic Oceans," specifically so I could groove on Ralphe's playing. Discuss. Groove Mama
Sounds like a trifecta, although I am not particularly familiar with these guys. Must do some listening. Suggested recordings? They're as different as three bass players can be -- and all 100-percent awesome. "Tours widely in the southwestern tip of Kentucky"
