Ian Sharrock
I'm in the process of repairing an RD700sx at college. I contacted Roland UK spares & it seems there's at least 3 different hammers used on the keyboard. Steve, the spares co-ordinator is sending me a hammer which has all the correct features (pivot in right place, etc) & should work but it is different in minor ways. So, I'm curious now. Does anyone know just how many keybed variations there are on the RD700sx? Gig rig: Motif XF8,Roland A37~laptop,Prophet 08,Yam WX5~VL70m. Joe P
Ian, Do you think he meant 3 different hammers within that keyboard? Like a graded action? My RD700 uses 4 different hammers. Just a thought... Good luck, Joe
