Roland Fantom G6, D-70, JP-8000, Juno-106, JV-1080, Moog Minitaur, Korg Volca Keys, Yamaha DX-7. Seannn Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 Yes, I own the Monotron and monotribe. The Monotron is alright, the monotribe is a beast--I plan to record with it. The point of the instrument really isn't for it to be used as a solo instrument (so MIDI isn't really necessary), it's more for modifying other sound sources, or creating background bips and beeps. The drum machine on the monotribe is pretty cool too--a lot of analog punch from such a small, affordable thing! Here a monotribe thread Klonk. I recall the Monotron being described in a Korg NAMM or Musikmesse update thread, but don't have time to find it right now.
