Ross Brown
There's nothing like a gig on the books in two weeks to get the band motivated to polish up the set list.... sneaky devil, aren't I? Playing a showcase event at a cool venue (nice stage, good sound system and sound guy). If it goes well it will lead to bookings for the second half of the year. I hope my band is ready..... JBFLA
My last band did many showcases. We were (primarily) a society/wedding/corporate band. The showcases were usually a freebie, but the bookings from those still continue to come in. Don't know how well a club gig showcase works but I wish you well. Let us know how it worked out. Ross Brown
I know this club a little. It will likely lead to bookings for us to play the showcase, as long as we do well. I know lots of bands that play here. This is the way it is done here.... The band is looking forward to it... cool... I wasn't sure how they would react.
