pinkjimiphoton Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 hi guys, did a youtube for a one chip chorus,info here: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=92872.0 and used my fuzzy bee as the dirt for it. i used russian mp16b germanium pnp's for my build, it's a really nice sounding pedal. i labeled it "dirty b. " and the controls are labled hover (sustain), buzz (distortion) and sting (volume). was a fun build, gonna build an npn version too with completely different trannys. i socketed everything, and tried several different configurations of pnp and npn versions with everything from mpsa18, 13 and 6515's to 3904s etc...the mp16's sounded best. hfe is around 90 for q1 to 150 for q3.
