Editor Boy
Editor Boy@NAMM: While currently WAY too expensive for musician use (debut is targeted at top-tier extravanganzas), Shure's new Axient wireless system manages frequency spectrums and combats interference in an ever more crowded wireless environment. But soon, even local bands will be fighting for wireless frequencies, so we should all watch developments here.

rwgtr
Does Gibson have a real booth with displays this year? The Beano Les Paul and the new Buckethead Les Paul Studio are interesting to me, at least.

I don't know how many of you have engineered wireless spectrum for a performance venue, but let me just say it's always been hard and getting harder. That a cappella vocal TV show that was just on amazed me when they had at least 60 active wireless mic channels going at once (impossible several years ago without digital encoding and RF sharing). I couldn't tell if they were just faking it with 20 active channel units, had lined the entire hall with moometal or actually had them all running in a digital share...
