Hannes Laszakovi Posted July 15, 2010 Share Posted July 15, 2010 I think the key is the balance between the SPEED of your plucking finger and the FORCE you use. Try to move your plucking finger faster and lighter, and you'll get as much energy into the string as by force, but the initial movement of the string will be smoother. Imagine to slap somebody's face (which causes the typical slapped-face-sound) as opposed to throwing the person over (needing much more force but producing only "thump") Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
