johnnycee
Hi Guys, Here's my latest lesson. Hubert Eaves IV with Erykah Badu on the 1997 live album - such a great CD!: http://www.johnnycopland.com/?p=650 peace, J
Phil W
That is one of my favourite albums of all time. Bizarrely it's the only one of her records I've really enjoyed. http://philwbass.com
davio
Bizarrely it's the only one of her records I've really enjoyed. Seriously? Might be time for an appointment with the head doctor, Phil.
davio
I just checked it out. I guess this is a perfect example of how two bass players can hear the same part totally and completely differently. EDIT: Scratch that. I just noticed that's from the Live album. I was thinking of the studio version and thinking "where the heck did he get all that from?" I checked it out on iTunes just now and now I have to buy that one too. *sigh* Nice job.
Phil W
I've never liked the production on her studio work, especially the programming. The live band on that record is as near perfect as a band could be though. http://philwbass.com
