I'm partial to funk -- have seen Groove Sect with Fred Wesley at the Boom Boom Room and Dragon Smoke at The Independent -- but am open to any bands with a good bass line. Will be in town the weekend of Jan 22/23, so please let me know who I should check out where. Thanks!
