Mikey Irish Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 I've got a friend that uses his for reggae and I got lucky enough to find one at a local shop with a bit of wear. Unfortunately, I've tried everything with the neck pickup I can to get it to have a nice round fat sound but it just sounds really tinny. Any advice on the problem? I've tried adjusting pole height, checked the pots, the output, and made sure the pickup selector wasn't reversed. Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated! b5pilot Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 What's your amp settings? Maybe you can tweak the EQ. Is the cap in the tone circuit correct? Otherwise you may need a better pickup.
