GreySeraph
...is an awesome song, but I can't find my printout of the score that Guitar Player had posted on the site many months ago. Is there some way someone can hook me up with the Beyond the Mirage score by Al di Meola? I wanna play it with my jazz trio. Caevan O’Shite
Hmmmnn; maybe you could also ask over on the GP Editors' Office Forum? Maybe one of the Eds could help or at least point you in the right direction? GreySeraph
I emailed Molenda, but I havent gotten anything back. Is he the one I should be talking to? or some editor below him? ThisSiteSucks
I know it's hard to do, but can you go to a LIBRARY and find it?
Caevan O’Shite
I know it's hard to do, but can you go to a LIBRARY and find it? Good idea... Was it also published in an issue of GP? If so, that dog should hunt! (I mean, the library should prove beneficial.) I emailed Molenda, but I havent gotten anything back. Is he the one I should be talking to? or some editor below him? There's another whole "forum" hereabouts called the "Guitar Player Editors' Office"; go to the "Hop to" drop-down sub-menu in the lower right of the 'page, select your destination and post your situation. Mr. Molenda's a good guy, but being pretty busy he may or may not notice or get around to a personal e0mail all too quickly; if you don't hear from him, I'm sure it's not from lack of caring. Caevan O’Shite
If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this 'page that you're on right now while you're reading this post, near the mifddle/bottom you'll see "Hop to:", and to the right of that a little window that will read "Guitar Player Forum"; to the right, there's a drop-down button- click on that to display a drop-down sub-menu, and it will list "Guitar Player Editors' Office" just below "Guitar Player Forum" and "Clasifieds". Select "Guitar Player Editors' Office" with a click, and then to it's immediate right, click the "Go" button. The 'page will then redirect to the GP Eds' Office forum. Hopefully they'll be able to help you out one way or another. Larryz
Don't know if this helps but try a google search, I went there and came up with music44.com and sheetmusicplus.com as a couple of places to start.... Take care, Larryz

Caevan O’Shite
Hey, that's great! Glad for ya. Where'd ya find it, in what form? And, sure, Lemmy know when you've got that squared away, I'll take one! Is it all standard notation, or notation and tab? If the former, are there any added notes/suggestions for fingering, etc.? GreySeraph
it's all notation without fingering. If you want help with that I can tell you (already I can tell you most of it occurs in first position) ...just yeah, that crap is F***ING hard. Caevan O’Shite
Cool, no prob with the notation- I'm no sight-reader, not even remotely close, but I can suss it out bit by bit well enough to learn from it on several levels in the process. I'm probably not going to be playing a rendition of the whole thing anytime soon, but I'll assimilate and absorb all kinds of little things from it and mutate 'em to my own uses, and maybe be inspired... PM me when you've gotten that squared away for transmission.
