calypsocoral
So, I'm in the market for something that will let me practice late at night, without disturbing any of my neighbors. I know there are plenty of options out there with samplers, multi-effects pedals, etc. But I haven't seen or heard much about anything like THIS. Basically, it plugs into the output jack of your instrument, and has the typical amplifier controls along the length of one face, and you plug the headphones in one of the ends. There's a list of features in the product description. It runs on a pair of AAA batteries. It has a compressor and an overdrive. Does anybody have any experience with it? If so, how is the sound? Paul K
I'm thinking that it's overpriced. You can use about ANY multi-effect floor stomp thingy. You should be able to score a neeto Zoom 506 or something like it on eBay for well under twenty bucks shipped. And they all come with a tuner even if you never use any of the bazillion effects. If you're doing any home studio thingy with your 'puter, you're already set up for headphones. Free. Things are just the way they are, and they're only going to get worse.
