RocketRick
I was wondering what the lb pull is for different size strings. I know it might change per manuf but wonder what the nominal force is for each gauge/size strings? rick Money may buy a fine dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail. trushack
I know D'Addario lists them on their packs. You could probably find the tensions on their website.

fantasticsound
D'Addario has a string gauge pdf on their site that lists the pull tension based on the string, scale length, frequency (note), etc. It's a great reference for those interested in even tension with custom tunings. Here's a direct link although you can find the link on the lower left corner of their homepage. D'Addario tension chart It's easiest to find me on Facebook. RocketRick
Yeah I already found and dwnlded that pdf. Thanks. Quite cumbersome tho. I mean how much can a set of 9's or whatever vary from manuf or materials? I'll put it into a excel ss. Money may buy a fine dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail.
