shikawkee
Everyone here was very helpful with my search last year for a sampler/sequencer/looper. The Electrix Repeater is no longer manufactured and currently out of my price range on E-Bay ($800.+). Does anyone here know if someone or some manufacturer is working on a similar device ? I sure think there's a market for it. Comments ? I'd appreciate any feedback.
felix.
I'd be surprised to see a new box like Repeater developed, especially with the progress that soft-samplers and sampling synths have made in a very short period of time. A laptop with Kontakt, MachFive, or Live and an Oxygen8-style controller would go far. Or a V-Synth or VariOS might do the trick too.
shikawkee
Thanks for the response. I was hoping to find something for live performance as well as studio. Something that could be triggered by a midi foot pedal. Therefore, I think software is out (unless I get a laptop ! ).

Brittanylips
The two that come closest to the Repeater are: Ableton "LIVE" (distributed by M-Audio) and Soundtracks (distributed by Apple) -Peace, Love, and Brittanylips
